BLUESAVE experts are DGNB auditors, having already audited more than 300.000 m² usable area according to DGNB sustainable building
standards. Their services comprise energy efficiency performance
evaluation, as well as auditing and training services, thermal simulation, life cycle cost analysis, eco-balance and more.
BLUESAVE experts support land owners, contractors and operators to design, build and operate economically, ecologically and socially sustainable buildings. BLUESAVE is founding member of ÖGNI in Austria.
KfW DEG
Since its founding in 1948 and according to its statutory mission, KfW Group, as a promotional bank, has been supporting change and encouraging forward-looking ideas: in Germany, Europe and throughout the world. For this purpose it has provided nearly one trillion euros in loans over 65 years.
KfW has many tasks. This includes:
1. Domestic Promotion
KfW promotes the future investments of its citizens, SMEs and the municipal and social infrastructure.
2. Export and Project Finance
KfW finances projects of German and European companies so they can compete on global markets.
3. Development Finance
KfW Development Bank and DEG support economic and social progress in developing and transition countries to help ensure the people there are better off.
4. Special Tasks
KfW carries out special tasks on behalf of the German Federal Government. These tasks range from the privatisation of German state-owned enterprises to the administration of old claims of the former GDR.
German Sustainable Building Council
The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB – Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen e.V.) was founded in 2007 to promote sustainable and economically efficient buildings. Today the association has more than 1,200 members world wide. DGNB members represent the entire value chain of the construction and real-estate sector: architects, construction industry, investors and scientists bring in their comprehensive know-how and innovation. DGNB has developed a stringent criteria catalogue on the ecological, economic and socio-economic quality of buildings, as well as their location. This enables owners to compare their buildings to international best practise and quality, thus continuously supporting them in their innovation process.
German Ministry of Environment
The project is supported by the Federal Ministry of Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety, based on a decision of the German Bundestag.
Austrian Sustainable Building Council
The Austrian Sustainable Building Council (ÖGNI—Österreichische Gesellschaft für nachhaltige Immobilienwirtschaft) was founded in 2009 to promote sustainable buildings in Austria. The Austrian association with their auditors and board members as well as experts have a great share in spreading the DGNB standards in Eastern and South-Eastern Eu-rope. Most buildings with a DGNB certificate in Eastern and South-Eastern Europe were audited by ÖGNI auditors.
